I wish I meant me, but alas it's our Vermont Woods Studios furniture that is traveling to Greece.  A customer, Melissa S. called last week in a bit of panic.  She was moving to the Greek Isles in 6 weeks and needed help in getting luxury furnishings for her new home.   She had had a disastrous experience with Direct Buy and was desperate to make up for lost time.  She was shopping for a high-end, solid wood dining room set.  She was excited when she found our website but was worried about the time.  Typically it takes us 6-10 weeks to build handcrafted furniture.

Fortunately, we have a couple different options for this type of situation.  I suggested that Melissa leave the rushing to us, while she relaxed by the pool.    We have the following RUSH options to get our beautiful handcrafted furniture order to you very quickly:

  • The first option is our FAST Build program where you can order from about 25-30 of our most popular items.  Since we're making these items often, we can complete them within 2 weeks of order processing.  There is no extra charge for FAST Ship items and in fact, they are often on sale.
  • The second option is our RUSH 10-15 program.  Any standard (non-custom) furniture item can be crafted within 10 working days of order processing for an upcharge of 15%.
  • The third option is our RUSH 25-10 program where any standard (non-custom) furniture item can be crafted within 25 working days of order processing for an upcharge of 10%.

Melissa chose the RUSH 10-15 program and also decided to go with our FREE EXPRESS shipping service which takes only 2-10 days for shipping and delivery.  She'll have her order within about 3 weeks of order processing, which I think, is about as good as it gets for handcrafted, sustainable furniture, made to order in the USA.

We wish Melissa all the best during her move and subsequent stay in Greece.  If you need additional furniture while there, I may just have to deliver it personally!
