The Bayline Outdoor Dining Furniture collection is our newest collection from POLYWOOD. We just launched it last week and we’re so excited about this new addition. It’s sustainable, casual, and the perfect outdoor dining furniture solution for the contemporary design lover. This Outdoor Dining Furniture collection incorporates modern styling with several bold, summery colors. The chairs feature a slender profile made of weather-resistant aluminum, paired with a selection of durable weather-resistant outdoor fabric options.
The sleek look of the Bayline collection and the usage of metal + fabric provide a chic alternative to POLYWOOD’s typical furniture styling. Four frame options are available in textured or satin finishes, with side and arm chair styles in two height choices for dining and bar usage. The arm details offered are plastique or solid.
This collection can easily accommodate any outdoor space style and layout. It’s an ultra versatile set, especially when complemented with the popular Euro outdoor dining table.
Bayline Outdoor Dining Furniture Color Options:
While most of POLYWOOD’s eco-friendly outdoor furniture comes in a variety of colors, this collection is striking in the use of colorful Sunbrella fabrics rather than RPL (recycled plastic lumber). This gives the collection a more modern, fresh look while still maintaining durability and weather resistance.
Bayline Outdoor Dining Furniture Frame Options:
Elegance, cool sophistication, and a fresh simple look are just a few ways to describe the new Bayline Collection from POLYWOOD. Pair with our Euro style table, and you’ve got the perfect outdoor dining furniture setup for your porch, patio, or other outdoor space. This luxury collection is part of a new era of light-weight outdoor dining furniture that is sure to create the perfect focal point for your outdoor space.

When customers asked us to start carrying outdoor furniture naturally we searched for a real wood product. However, while there are weather resistant species such as cedar, teak, eucalyptus and redwood that make fine outdoor furniture, we still worried about the longevity of the furniture, maintenance, and the environmental impact. Forest conservation is at the heart of our mission at Vermont Woods Studios and is a key factor in our decision making process. While researching high end outdoor wood furniture we discovered recycled plastic lumber (RPL) made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE). Also know as Poly-Wood, it looks like real wood & has the heavy weight of real wood plus it’s durable, versatile and environmentally friendly.
White, Black, Blue + Many Colors & NO Painting or Scraping
If you want colors, you’ll have to paint wood furniture and re-paint it over the years. But with Poly-Wood the color is evenly mixed throughout the RPL boards so when scratches occur, they rarely show. No painting, oiling or maintenance is required other than simply washing with water. Poly-Wood tolerates harsh weather such as rain, snow, ice, and salt water and unlike wood it’s insect, mold & mildew-proof.
I love the quality and style of POLYWOOD furniture and the fact that it’s American made. But I have to confess, the biggest reason we chose this recycled plastic outdoor furniture is the environmental aspect. We are a company that works to raise awareness about where your furniture comes from. So how cool is it that with POLYWOOD our customers are not just helping to save trees in the rainforest, they’re also taking waste out of the waste stream and keeping it out of our landfills?
Today was the first day of 2014 that was warm enough (for me, anyway) to eat lunch outside on the porch. Hallelujah, Spring is finally here! The sun is shining, the birds are singing and the snow has melted off our stoic all weather Adirondack chairs. Yes we callously left them outside all winter long to endure the frigid temperatures, frost, ice and snow that only Vermont skiers can appreciate.
But when we sat down on our Classic Adirondack chairs chairs today they looked and felt like new. That’s because they’re made using an innovative new technology that takes recycled plastic drink containers and transforms them into plastic lumber that’s more durable than real wood. A company called POLYWOOD Inc, in Syracuse Indiana produces the furniture. To tell the truth, we were looking for something Vermont made when we decided to start carrying high quality outdoor patio furniture. But, after doing the research we fell in love with POLYWOOD for many reasons:
POLYWOOD is stylish, comfortable, durable and environmentally friendly
The many colors (red, green, blue, yellow, orange, white, black and more) of POLYWOOD are imbued throughout the recycled plastic lumber (RPL) which means scratches don’t show up and no painting or maintenance is required
POLYWOOD has coated stainless steel hardware that’s rust resistant so the furniture can be left outside all year long
POLYWOOD reduces the amount of plastic in landfills and helps preserve rare tropical rainforest woods that would otherwise be used for patio furniture

I love blogging about our customers and their comments, feedback and reviews of our furniture. B.R. of Westport, CT sent us this photo and testimonial:
We love our new white Adirondack furniture! Looks great and inviting and is EASY care! Makes me feel like I’m on vacation in the Cape when I look at it…. :-))
Furniture photos are always ten times better when the customer or their pets are in them, don’t you think? I want to write a blog post titled:
How To Match Your Outdoor Lawn and Garden Furniture to Your Dog
I’ll need more photos though so I’m reaching out to all you POLYWOOD owners today. Surely some of you have dogs that qualify? The POLYWOOD Adirondack furniture set above comes in 13 different colors (blue, teak, tangerine, red, sand, mahogany, lime, lemon, green, black, aruba, slate grey or white). Granted some of them won’t match your dog. But what color is your dog? I’m going to have a hard time believing you have a dog that doesn’t match one of these colors.
How about you post a photo of your dog and your outdoor furniture on our Facebook? Even if they don’t match we’ll send you a free copy of Rachel Carter’s Vermont Explorer’s Guide just for being such a good sport. And I’ll collect the photos and post them here on the blog. OK? Humor me. Please?
We love getting customer comments, feedback and suggestions about our American made furniture, especially when the reviews come with photos attached. Today we’re sending our thanks out to Katie B who recently received her POLYWOOD Presidential Outdoor Rocking Chairs:
“Our deck in the mountains of western NC faces the morning sun and is uncovered. Thusly, our need for strong, durable porch rockers. They are so comfortable and look amazing!! Thanks, Vermont Woods Studios!” Katie B
Here’s a little information on these durable outdoor rockers. They’re a green product, made in America from recycled plastic milk jugs. We guarantee them to last a lifetime (a little known benefit I don’t think you’ll find at any other furniture store). The porch rockers come in 12 traditional and bright colors. They’re built in Indiana with maintenance-free recycled plastic lumber and premium stainless steel hardware. The seats and backs are contoured for extra comfort, plus comfortable elbow support and big armrests make it easy to get up. Optional seat cushions are available and our price includes free shipping.
Oh and there’s no need to store these outdoor rockers during winter months – leave them outside! POLYWOOD is weather resistant and fade resistant. The color isn’t just on the surface of POLYWOOD, it’s all throughout the plastic lumber so there’s no painting, staining, waterproofing, stripping or resurfacing needed. It’s a product you will never have to replace.
Give Liz or Sean a call if you’re interested in learning more or need a sample of POLYWOOD in one or more of the many colors available (blue, teak, tangerine, red, sand, mahogany, lime, lemon, green, black, aruba, slate grey or white).
