Marketing Assistant Jobs | Brattleboro Vermont | NH, MA
Looking for a Marketing Assistant job? These Vermont Woods Studios Sales and Marketing professionals were featured on ABC World News with Diane Sawyer last year as part of our Made in America Christmas Shopping Challenge. Heather Barrett (Ticket #2) will soon be vacating her rocker and we need someone with a blend of creativity and organizational skills to fill it. Are you game?

Well I have good news and bad news today.  The bad news is that our Marketing Assistant Extraordinaire, Heather Barrett is leaving us and heading up to the Big City (aka Burlington if you live in Vermont) to work for Dealer.com (Vermont’s pride and joy when it comes to Internet marketing companies).  We wish her well, but she’s left some pretty big shoes to fill.

And speaking about that, the good news is that we’re looking for a new Marketing Assistant who may be you (or someone you know and love)! The job is actually my dream job.  You get to surf around the Internet, hang out on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Houzz and other social media sites– all with the purpose of raising awareness about the beauty and sustainability of Vermont’s handcrafted furniture.

Actually there’s MUCH more to it than that.  Perhaps the biggest challenge is keeping Dennis’ (he’s our Marketing Manager) many marketing projects organized and running smoothly. This means assisting with graphic design using photo editing software, managing the company blog and Email campaigns, helping with product management and merchandising, optimizing website effectiveness with analytics software and so on.  It really requires a challenging blend of creative and organizational skills.

If you think this might be up your alley, send us a resume!  All the details and instructions are on this Marketing Assistant job posting.  And for an inside look at Vermont Woods Studios, check out this blog post (we’re recruiting for a webmaster too) from earlier this week where I wrote some candid thoughts about what it’s like to work here.

The truth is… we have a lot of fun.  But I’d be remiss if I failed to say that we do work really hard.  Check out the rest of our blog and Facebook for more info about our small, but rapidly growing company.

Sales are going up and we're hiring again at our Vernon, VT office of Vermont Woods Studios Furniture.

Our office isn't as crazy as The Office at Dunder Mifflin, but it's not your average workplace either.

We're constantly challenging ourselves and each other to do things better, faster and smarter and we keep up a pretty fast pace. At the same time, we try to have fun and celebrate our successes as we pursue our company's green mission.

We have 2 job positions we're looking to fill.  One is for a Sales and Customer Service Associate.  This person will start out working in Sales and Shipping with Douglas and Shannon, helping customers online, over the phone and in the showroom.

The second position is for a Marketing Associate.  This person will start out working with Manjula and Dennis adding new products to our website and editing existing products.

Both positions are entry level and require a fair amount of data entry in the beginning.  As our company grows, we try to shape the job around the person's strengths, interests and plans for future professional development so there is room to grow and pursue your passion with us.

Anyone interested in joining us should get to know our company through our website (also our blog, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest) review the job postings and respond per the posted instructions.  We plan to review resumes and references over the next month or so and will be selecting candidates in April or May.
