What are you doing to celebrate the United States of America's 236th birthday on this 4th of July? If you're like most of us, your plans are mostly about shopping, swimming, BBQs and fireworks. So here's a couple really easy ways to be patriotic and make a difference for our country's heros on this patriotic day.
Fly the flag! Honor the brave Americans who have served our country. Their sacrifices have earned our freedom. Show them your support!
Go to the parade. Every community has a parade, right? Take 2 hours and bring the kids to re-visit what the Fourth of July is all about.
Watch this 1 minute video about Cell Phones For Soldiers on Causes.com and ATT will donate $2 for every view of the film up to $50,000. This charity was founded in 2004 by Robbie and Brittany Bergquist, when they were 12 and 13 years old to help soldiers make phone calls to their families. To date they have raised more than $7 million and provided more than 150 million minutes of free talk time to military personnel and veterans. You can add to their accomplishments by clicking here.
Now go out and enjoy the freedoms that others have provided you. Happy Fourth!
