This week we will begin building a natural cherry armoire and lingerie chest for a customer in The Netherlands. Previously, we would not have been able to take this order because the cost of shipping would have been prohibitive. My advice to customers was to plan on purchasing at least $40,000 in furniture in order to make the cost of international shipping worthwhile. But now with exchange rates being very favorable to international customers, we can take orders as low as $25,000 and still provide customers with the sustainable, hardwood furniture they're seeking at a competitive price, even including shipping and import duties.
