The sad news is that Liz is leaving us. It’s been a great run and we’ve enjoyed her energy, wit, resourcefulness and determination. But alas it’s coming to an end this summer. Liz is heading off to graduate school to study all things literature and writing (a curriculum I would obviously fail). We’re all going to miss her wry sense of humor AND all the work she’s been doing. Reluctantly we’ll have to wish her well as she motors across the country into the halls of University of Washington and the arms of English professors eagerly awaiting her epigrammatic talents.
The good news though, is that now we have an opportunity for another superstar to join forces with us at Vermont Woods Studios! The job opening: a Sales & Customer Service Associate is posted on our website. Know anyone who’s smart, fun to work with, loves to learn new things and has a flair for interior design? Someone who enjoys helping people find exactly what they want– by listening and helping customers create beautiful, comfortable dream homes. OK, then send them our way!
The particulars for the job are posted on our website. The successful candidate will start out working with Liz, learning all about our company, our green mission, our furniture and our home decor products. Soon they’ll be helping customers in the showroom, answering phones, taking orders, creating displays and working with the rest of us to grow our company and demonstrate our mission.
Details and instructions on how to apply are posted here. We’ll be reviewing resumes and references over the next couple weeks. Interviews will start right after that and hopefully we’ll be selecting a candidate around the end of May for an early to mid-June start date. Let the search begin!
