Quechee-balloonfestFinding the perfect Father's Day gift is a difficult process.  For me, it usually includes Googling "Father's Day gift ideas" for a few hours, and realizing I don't have enough time to order anything online.  My next attempt is to drive to a department store and wander the isles for an hour before picking up the classic go-to Father's Day gift:  a neck-tie.  But what does dad really want?  He wants to spend the day with his family!

Get dad in the car and head to picturesque Quechee, Vermont this weekend for the perfect Father's Day event.  It is the 33rd Annual Quechee Hot Air Balloon, Craft and Music Festival.  This is a weekend long event (Friday, June 15-Sunday, June 17) and has been named one of the Top 20 Summer Events by Yankee Magazine.  The event features over 20 hot air balloons, and you can schedule a purchased balloon ride ahead of time online.  If you are interested in staying grounded, the schedule of events also lists a variety of live music performances, dance routines, and comedy acts.  Food vendors, a beer and wine garden, and over 60 craft artisans and commercial vendors, will also be at the festival for your entertainment.  This family friendly event also includes an extensive list of children's activities including train rides and a bounce house.  For additional information about the extravaganza, please visit the Quechee Hot Air Balloon, Craft and Music Festival website.

Will I see you and your family there?
