What are you doing for Earth Day? If you're stuck inside at a desk, like I am at the moment, there are still loads of things you can do to help. Check out World Wildlife Fund's Take Action Now page. This is one of many great websites that initiate online petitions to get lawmakers around the globe to listen to our voices for conservation. I am working on stopping the delivery of unwanted telephone books to my house. How many trees a year does it take to make so many books. I found a site called http://www.YellowPagesGoesGreen.org that will help stop the delivery of the books. If I want one I will ask for one. Ever heard of the internet? These books and the landfill they take are wasted.
I agree! I just went to dma.org a couple weeks ago and signed up for the “Take me off all junk mail lists” list. You might have fun with that one. Best-
