Meg Flaherty, the woman behind Peggy’s Blog at Vermont Woods Studios is pleased to introduce herself. Meg has been working with Peggy on developing Vermont Woods Studios since the beginning of the old website and is proud to lend a helping hand with the new expansion. She will monitor the content of the new blog and pass your comments along to Peggy, serving as facilitator, but also, as the story of Vermont Woods Studios grows, expanding her role as an interviewer and commentator, a link from us to you. A graduate of Smith College, Meg has been an avid student of Nature Writing, Environmental History and Environmental Ethics, among other things, and truly admires and respects the big bite VWS has taken out of the Green movement.
Our real mission at VWS is to change the world: save the rainforests, stem Global Warming, preserve the individual artisan’s role in a modern economy… Beautiful, hand-crafted, eco-friendly Green furniture is but a logical and timely vehicle to accomplish those goals. We hope this blog will help bring our company together with those who support our mission, so together we can make a deeper, more united impact. We would like to share the ever more compelling story behind our mission with you so that when you come to us for furniture, you know you’re getting exactly what you pay for.
